Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (TAA)
The TAA program provides aid to
workers who lose their jobs or are adversely affected by free trade. Workers may be eligible for training, job
search and relocation allowances, income support and other employment services.
Dislocated Worker Program
The Dislocated Worker Program
provides core, intensive, training services to dislocated workers. An individual must be 18 years of age or
older and meet certain requirements for eligibility.
Health Alliance Plan
The Health Alliance Plan (HAP)
offers a Health Coverage Continuation Plan for both salaried and hourly
employees who have lost their health care benefits due to buyouts from
automotive companies and had the option to choose HAP HMO from their employer.
